What is Master Boot Record of a Computer Hard Disk
The Master boot record (or MBR) of a computer is a special space on the hard disk that is used to maintain the data needed to start the operating system of the computer. It is the first jumping point to boot up the PC. As a rule, the boot record is located in the first sector of your hard disk, making it easy for the system to find, read and execute files needed to run the OS application. All the codes necessary to access the files and start the boot up process are included in the master boot record.
As with all of your hard disk, it is possible for the master boot record to get damaged. Since the hard disk is a magnetic media, it can get corrupted easily. When this happens, it may be impossible to boot the hard drive at all. However, if the master boot record is still partially operational, there is some chance of being able to start the operating system in safe mode. From there, it may be possible to repair the hard drive by using recovery software that is placed on your hard drive. If the drive will not boot at all, it may be possible to correct the problem using some specialized recovery disk such as Spotmau bootsuite. For more information about these products read this spotmau review and bootsuite 2011 review here.
If the user can not bypass the damaged state of the boot record, hard disk can be analyzed and repaired by professionals. There are specialized companies that their job is to recover damaged hard disk. This may include the extraction of data stored on the hard disk and restore the partition table to save the disk. Many hard drives can be saved and most of its data is recovered. Newest hard disks also contain mechanism that check for error messages and
What is Blue Screen of Death in Windows Computers
Microsoft Windows operating systems use the “blue screen of death” to report critical system errors in the operating system.

As a result, the only possible action for the system is to restart the computer without saving your data. Also, the operating system creates a log file entry describing the error.
As you can understand, a blue screen can happen to anyone. If you want to recover your system, you can use a PC utility capable for computer maintenance. One such software tool is Spotmau. Check out this spotmau review for more information here.
To recover from blue screen of death, you need to read and understand the error messages and codes that the computer will give you. If you are not a technical person, I suggest you to get a complete PC maintenance tool to help you fix all those problems easily.
